Children’s Department Programs

CHILDREN’S PROGRAM REGISTRATION POLICIES

“First day” in-person or online registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Telephone registration begins at 2:00 p.m. First week registration is limited to two programs per child.

We will hold space for program registrants for five minutes from its start unless we receive a call that a child will be late.

Parents are responsible to supervise their own children’s library use and materials selection.

Summer Reading Club

It’s almost time for the South Country Library Summer Reading Club! Come to the Library for “Take Off With Reading” from June 24 to August 5. Starting June 24, you can register your child (ages birth through 5th grade) for the Club; you’ll receive a reading record and bookmark to get you started.

Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration

Come to the Kickoff Celebration on Wednesday, June 26. Drop in any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to see the room transformation, play games, and get a balloon animal.

Family Programs

Family Zumba

Ages 4-12 years AND an adult.

Thursday, June 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The entire family will enjoy this fun-filled hour of Latin rhythms, dancing, and fitness entertainment. Parents and children get to spend time together having fun and getting fit. Please bring a bottle of water.

Recycled Bird Feeder
